The Eco club is responsible for managing green activities, such as growing trees, pollution reduction, plastic reduction and cleaning-up
drives such as collecting rubbish. It also beautifies road side areas with plants and flowers and put campaign boards to
generate awareness. Eco Club at Ideal college plays an important role in creating environmental awareness amongst the future generations.
It is a platform where we get knowledge about environment enabling students to be sensitive towards environmental problems. The club promotes
and motivates students on how to imbibe habits and life style for minimum waste generation.

In an attempt to spread awareness among the public on the harm caused by usage of chemicals and colors
for making Idols, the club has distributed clay idols and pamphlets on Vinayaka Chavithi day at Musalamma Gudi
Indrapalem and Nukalamma Gudi Ramaraopeta areas in Kakinada City on 24th August 2017.
On 10th July 2017, Eco-club has conducted green environmental protection event and Vanam Manam programme,
in which over 30 kinds for plants were planted.
Several Swachha Bharat Programmes organized regularly in the College Campus, latest being 27th July 2017.
Clean and green programs were conducted on 24th June 2017 by the club in the campus to remove garbage.
Eco-club has organized Vanam Manam Programme on 29.07.2016 planted 50 plants in College Campus.
On 22nd September 2016 our College Students participated in clean & green Programme and nearly 50 plant were planted in the college
On 23rd October and 20th November 2016 our College students and staff participated in Clean & Green programme, painting walls, plantation of plants, respectively
Department of Botany and Zoology Jointly Organized a Programme on 16.09.2015 under Eco Club for awareness of Environmental protection by
distribution of Clay Idols and 20 types of Pathri to the public.
