- Inauguration of dept of Telugu on the eve of Gurajada apparao jayanthi held on 21-09- 2015 . Dr.R Ramamohana rao , chairman BOS AKNU ,rjjy and HOD-Telugu, SVKP & Dr KSR degree college, Penugonda has attended as chief guest and Resource person. Dr .P. Chiranjeevinikumari , Secretary and correspondent of ideal colleges attended as Guest of honor.
- 125 th Birthday celebration of the eminent poet Gurram Jashua conducted by the Dept of Telugu on 28-09- 2015 , Dr. P. Chiranjeevini kumari attended as chief guest and Resource person .
- Centenary death celebration of the most eminent and modern poet Sri Gurajada Apparao conducted by the dept., with the collaboration of Jana Viznana Vedika of EGDt. Held on 03-12- 2015 Dr. P.S.Prakasharao Gr 1 pandit , pitapuram has attended as chief resource person. P.S.N.Reddy ,City president,JVV attended as chief guest.
- The Dept of Telugu conducted a meeting on world mother tongue importance on 03-03- 2016. Dr. S.Sita mahalakshmi, Rt., professor, D.N.R.P.G.Courses, Bhimavaram has attended as Resource person.
- The Dept of Telugu conducted a guest lecture on the short story ‘Ammaku aadivaaram leda’ by renowned Telugu short story teller Raganayakamma Prescribed for First year degree students on 01-03- 16. Dr. J.Krishnababu, Rt HOD-Telugu gave a lecture on that short story.
- Sri.K.Ramachandra reddy ,HOD-Telugu has attended as resource person in a meeting conducted by praja natya mandali of EGDt on the eve of 125 th Birth day celebration of Sri Gurram Jashua on 28 th Sep 2015 at Sundarayya bhavan,Kakinada.
- Sri.K.Ramachandra reddy,HOD-Telugu has attended as resource person in a meeting by saahitee sravanthi organization for Telugu literature on Sri Devulapalli Krishna Sastry on 1-11- 2015 at Gandhi bhavan Kakinada and delivered a lecture on Devulaplli's folk songs.
